Estoril surrendered a two-goal deficit to salvage a thrilling 2-2 draw against relegation-threatened Tondela in what proved to be a tale of two contrasting halves at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota.

The visitors, sitting 17th in the table with just 13 points from 20 matches, stunned their hosts with a blistering start. Pedro Maranhão capitalised on some slack defending to fire Tondela ahead after 12 minutes, before doubling their advantage just four minutes later with a clinical finish that silenced the home crowd.
